Shark sketches. Something smells fishy...

Hidy hi folks! Dropping in today to share with you some sketches I did for my buddy Jessica Dahn, who is just graduating from her masters in Art and Media Practice. For her final project she decided to make a children's game about sharks and other sea creatures. Below are the three concept sketches of Charlie the shark used in her presentation.

Charlie is caught in a fishing net!

Charlie rescued and recovering

Charlie chilling out with her new buddies (yes in reality they would probably try to eat each other but the kids don't necessarily know that...)

I also dropped in on her final exhibition over at The Rag Factory in Brick Lane, which included some amazing underwater photography.

One last thing: as some of you may know, it was my birthday yesterday (woo!) and I had a fabulous day out in town eating sushi and getting cake from China town (see below). In celebration of my birthday, sunshine and all good things I will be organising a big giveaway on my blog next week... so keep your eyes peeled!

Illustration for If I Was You project

Hello all! Just dropping by to share with you some of my latest work, an illustration for the If I Was You project, organised by the lovely Sandra Dieckmann! My subject was awesome Russian illustrator Irina Popvova, and what I would do if I were her. The answer? Join a circus with my troupe of performing cats!

You can see the image in situ If I Was You Project.com, as well as a mini-interview with yours truly! Lots of lovely work by talented people there, so be sure to check it out.

In other news, I am currently hard at work on some items for the upcoming pika package, which is a travel themed one. It's in for next week so nose to grindstone time for me! I look forward to sharing the fruits of my labour with all of you in due course. Until next time!

Poster for East London Craft Guerilla

Hidy hi, lovely weather today, innit? (Well, actually no, it's miserable outside. But anyway!)

Hopefully the weather will be better on Saturday 26th, when the lovely people at East London Craft Guerrilla will be arranging another of their grand monthly craft fairs. And yours truly had the privilege of designing the poster! You can keep up to date with all the latest developments as well as their other projects over on their blog.

Hope y'all had an awesome bank holiday, until next time!
